Lefkada
of the blue crystal clear water
and white sand

Lafkada is a group of islands consisting of an archipelago of 24 small and larger islands, surrounded by the blue and calm waters of the Ionian Sea between Corfu and Kefalonia.
The main part of the island is surrounded by blue waters with white endless sandy beachs, mostliy in the west, while to the east it is dominated by the green Prigiponissia with its picturesque anchorages and its sandy gulfs. Here lies Scorpios the renowned retreat of Onassis, as well as Madouri, the Island of the poet, Aristotelis Valaoritis. In the exceptionally pretty islands of Meganissi, Kastos and Kalamos you have the chance to visit several traditional villages.
Magnificent beachs, some of them precipitous, some sandy, offer the vistor the warm embrace of emerald waters and plenty of the bright light of the Greek sun. A bifferent light that makes the golden sand glow but most of all keeps human hearts warm. A light which, when the sun sinks into the sea at dusk, paints the entire island with a thousand colours. The beaches of Kathisma, Porto Katsiki, Egremnoi, Gyra, AiYiannis, Skala Gialou, Kaminia, Pefkoulia, Mylos Gialos, Agiofylli, Poros pose a great problem to the visitor. Where should he go first? The waters are so clear, the sand so white. The greatest problem of your vacation will probabliy be choosing which beach to go swimming from.
